Course Overview

The Divemaster Crossover course is designed for certified Divemasters from other recognized agencies who wish to become Divemasters. The program covers procedures, and philosophy, and ensures you meet the requirements for leadership, supervision, rescue, and demonstration-quality skills. The course combines eLearning, workshops, confined and open water sessions, and practical leadership experience under direct instructor supervision.

Quality over Quantity — the focus is on safe, correct procedures, real-world leadership, and hands-on practice. You will demonstrate competence in all required skills before certification.

Requirements:

  • Min age: 18 years
  • Certification: Divemaster or equivalent from recognized agency
  • Experience: Proof of experience/logs as required
  • Medical: Fit for diving, medical questionnaire completed
  • First Aid/CPR/O2: Current certification
  • Registration: Complete online registration and documentation before practical session

Training Schedule

  1. Theory: Complete e-learning module and quiz
  2. Workshops: leadership, supervision, site management, rescue, briefings
  3. Confined Water: Skills demonstration, rescue, problem-solving
  4. Open Water: Supervision, dive leading, assisting, site management, emergency scenarios
  5. Assessment: Demonstrate all required skills and pass the final knowledge review
